A buddy of mine, Richard Gaspard, of Crossroads Creative, has some really cool father’s day videos, that you can check out, HERE!
Also: Here are some things you could get from his site: A
30 sec. “Happy Fathers” Day piece, and a Sermon Opener titled “The US Male.” Both would fit perfectly for Father’s Day. He is actually the actor in The US Male. He dressed up as a postman, dancing around a neighborhood to Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.” You’ll have to see it, to believe it…
The Father’s Day piece is part of their Billboards line and the US Male is part of their On Ramps line.
Plus, if any of YOU go to the site, He’ll give you a 30% off coupon. All you have to do is enter this password:
MMMATTERS when you checkout. This is good for anything in the store, any time they want it, not just Father’s Day!
Be sure and check out Richard’s Blog HERE! (leave him a message and tell him THANKS) and he also happens to work at this amazing church, Check it out HERE!

Is Bruce Pearl not a Genius? This guy has taken us a long ways, in a short amount of time. We may not be the best team, but we are the #1 team.

-
Sunday we continued our
“Hostage Series”, this is intense, and i’m thinking my feet just got stepped on……in a good way.

Snow one day and 62 degrees the next? I’m ready for Spring…

Whether you use
Propresenter,
Easyworship,
Mediashout, or the 46 other companies that Churches and like-minded organizations use to display lyrics, dvd’s, and other forms of Media, now there is a way to play
Youtube files as well. Welcome to
Vixy.net.

You can convert them into MP3, AVI, MOV, MP4, and 3GP now, and its a free
app.
If you’re like myself, a fan of
youtube; a vast library of videos submitted by users, you’re probably already hooked on tools such that allows you to download the video in
FLVformat to store off line. I recently realized that there are lots of inspirational and funny videos available here as well as some of which I had tried in vain to search for, easily available by keying in the song title followed by a click on the Search button. You can even convert to MP3, which you can then play on your Ipod, or MP3 player. What a great tool for ministry. Have you found a site like this that has worked for you? Share!

This cracks me up…Check it out on youtube, HERE I found this article from Jason Wilkins, http://www.thephoenix.com/ Since the Lord is reportedly present throughout creation, it stands to reason that he pervades the World Wide Web. And lo, His cyber-prophet has emerged in Maine. The Church of Blow emerged a few months ago, and has issued more than thirty video-sermons to its growing flock. They all feature a young man in a purple robe decorated with green hearts. He has a Biblical beard and a bug-eyed look. “Hi, I’m Reverend Cornelius Blow,” he lightly drawls. “I have had a vision . . . I was instructed: ‘Cornelius, it’s time to start a church . . . on YouTube.’” Eagle-eyed fans of local theater may have already identified the RevCorBlow (“that’s my hip-hop name”) as Jeremiah McDonald, who has graced Portland-area stages with his laser-sharp comic timing. McDonald is also a filmmaker who has embraced the Web as a way to hone his craft while finding an audience. His videos, which have garnered more than 100,000 hits, were made with little more than a Mac laptop and a borrowed camera. YouTube presents them to the whole world at no cost.

Ok, so I’m easily impressed with bells and whistles. ;) The Dallas Cowboys are adding an amazing design element to the New Stadium they are building, read about it, HERE. with a never before seen center-hung video board. It hangs 110-feet above the field from the arches, but here is what will be exciting to fans: It will stretch between the 20 yard lines, meaning the sideline boards will span 60 yards. So the fans sitting in the upper decks will have what amounts to a larger-than life game being played directly in front of them if they choose not to look down at the field (certainly not to gaze at the ever-so famous cheerleaders :)). And this high-tech video experience doesn’t exclude those fans sitting at both ends of the stadium, since there will be two 48-foot wide boards facing them to enhance their experience. Of course, everything in Texas is Big, right? I wonder if they’d let me try out my xbox 360 on this thing? Thoughts?

Being in the Visual Presentation field of work, we are seeing lots of Church Media People downloading tons of thematic backgrounds. The next big thing, Valentine’s Day. Don’t get caught doing this at your church, ever! This church, has got it going on, very cool. Get your Shoutable Media, www.shoutable.com , if you haven’t already. Then on to Easter, find it HERE. With more and more church producers making thematic backgrounds and clips, there is no limit what you could do visually. God is Love, right? If you haven’t thought about what to get your significant other yet, how about giving some Bubble Joy… thanks goes out to Dave from Churchy Media for finding this one..You could even send your church volunteers some brotherly love this way too…
